Before you buy

Buying the whole pathway in one go costs less than buying its units one at a time, because each unit price includes its own tutoring and assessment. You can also build a qualification unit by unit. If you buy units to work towards a qualification, the centre registers you with VTCT Skills. Each unit the centre's assessor records as achieved counts as credit towards every qualification that includes it, and once you have achieved enough, the centre submits your results to VTCT Skills, which awards the qualification. You do not need to buy the pathway as well. If you buy a single unit on its own, you are not registered with VTCT Skills, and that unit does not lead to a VTCT qualification. If you buy the whole pathway, you pay the full price shown. Units you bought earlier are not deducted.

You need to log in before you can enroll in this course.

About this qualification

This qualification trains you to give Thai massage treatments safely and well, for clients with different needs. You learn how to prepare the treatment area, consult with each client, choose the right techniques and working positions, complete the treatment and give aftercare advice. Alongside the massage unit you cover health and safety in the salon and client care and communication, so you finish ready to work with the public. Taitam-D Academy London is an approved VTCT Skills centre for this qualification. Your certificate is issued by VTCT Skills and regulated by Ofqual (qualification number 600/4013/0). VTCT Skills product code AC30335. Ofqual qualification number 600/4013/0.

Course content

You receive the VTCT Skills Record of Assessment Book from the day your access opens, so you can read every assessment criterion and range item before your first lesson. Each unit becomes available to you as it is released. Practical observations are booked with your assessor.

Awarding body: VTCT (UK)

This is a regulated qualification. VTCT (UK) issues your certificate once you have achieved every credit the qualification requires and the centre has claimed it for you. Taitam‑D does not issue its own certificate for this qualification.

Frequently asked questions

Are the online courses suitable for beginners?▾

Yes — courses across the Taitam‑D network span every skill level, and each course page lists what you'll learn before you enroll.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?▾

It depends on the course. Some courses lead to a qualification awarded by an external awarding body such as VTCT — the course page says so where that is the case. Other courses are Taitam‑D Academy London courses: you receive a course completion certificate issued by us, with an online page where it can be checked. That certificate is not a regulated qualification and is not awarded by an external awarding body. The conditions for issuing a certificate are set out on each course page.

Do I need special equipment to take the courses?▾

It depends on the course — check the course's own overview and curriculum for any tools or equipment it calls for.
